Description
Wavy blade (7 curves), with watery patterning (pamor) of broad central band of repeated rectangles, somewhat resembling reptile skin. Hilt of brown wood, carved to represent a demon (raksasa), head bent forward and hands on knees, seated on a round stool decorated with scrolls resembling those of the raksasa's hair. Breast ornament and ankle rings. Wide brass ring between blade and hilt with bands of embossed designs. Hilt style typical of the city of Cirebon (North coast of Java).
