Description | -154 is from same vessel as -153. -153 is composed of 5 pieces glued together. Plain rimmed, basal sharp-Z angle, polypod vessel. Orange slipped all over with red paint added on rim overlapping on both interior and exterior and a narrow horizontal stripe interior below rim and an irregular wavey line on exterior horizontal; 2 horizontal black stripes on exterior below rim; one black stripe below red wavy line; and irregular black semi-circles on shoulder of carination with filled in half-dish repeated. Part of foot remains. Lustrous. Fine paste. |
