Description | Stemmed dish. Low foot with wide base, the edge of foot raised (similar to rim above). Low, thick stem. Shallow receptable with distinct articulation between it and the broad rim. Rim has slightly convex profile above and a vertical overhang. Glazed: edge of foot; broad band on underside of dish; overhang of rim; and the glaze decoration of the top surfaces. In center of top is a large female head facing left. Around top of rim is a large wave pattern. Intact save for a section of rim which broke off and was reglued. |
