Description

Red-brown ware, red-brown slip. Squat with wide rounded base, straight sides, ridged shoulder, wide neck contracting to outturned rim the top of which is grooved. Dark red-brown paint; band around the outside top of rim and under lip of rim; 2 narrow horizontal bands, 2 bands enclosing 2 bands of loops, double band of loops connecting the preceding with a broad band on and under ridge; single band below ridge.
