Description | Oinochoe shape IV. Unglazed: underside of disk foot and panel on front. Relief ring at base of neck painted red. Borders of panel: above, black tongue pattern; at each side vertical zig-zag line between two pairs of vertical lines. The scene in the panel is of two maenads dancing, one towards the left, the other towards the right, both facing inward, vines intwined around and above them. |
