Description

Dark blue cotton cloth. Brocaded bands of animals, birds and plants in white cotton and deep rose, green and yellow silk with two bands of open weave.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 40 epi, three singles, Z twist, navy cotton. Weft: 20 ppi, three singles, Z twist, navy cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Supplementary weft is two faced. One panel, four selvedges. Woven on a backstrap loom."
