Description | Wooden Zuni Katsina doll with movable arms. The face is unpainted and has rectangular eyes and mouth. A padded collar and a large, shell necklace are worn around the neck. An undecorated, cloth shirt is worn over the torso and a painted, cloth kilt is worn around the waist. A large feather is inserted into the kilt. One hand is holding a bow and the other holds a rattle. Fringed leather leggings cover the legs and leather moccasins painted blue and red cover the feet. |
