Description
Wooden Zuni Katsina doll with movable arms. The entire figure is painted black with multicolored dots. Feathers and string are attached to the top of the head. A fragmentary, painted breechcloth is wrapped around the waist. The right hand holds a stick used to light fires for ceremonies. This figure is the Zuni Fire Katsina (Shulawitsi).
