Description | Shape-slender rod with greatest diameter near top, appearing to gradually diminish from top to narrowest point which is next to flared tip of handle. Elaborately incised and gouged carving representing an animal fills most of upper 2/3. (Tail and four pair side fins possibly indicate halibut) Another small head of an animal touches the tail and also faces toward TOP end. Geometric border incised above and below. |
