Description | The handle is formed of two sizable coils of clay. At the juncture with the dish (if it is one) a disk of clay is attached on each side, painted to resemble an eye. A strip of clay is laid across the handle to connect the disks; another strip is laid lengthwise of the handle between the two coils. The interior of the "dish" is glazed and there are traces of glaze on top of the handle. Otherwise unglazed. |
