Description | Buff ware, buff slip. 2 legs on one vessel; 1 on the other. Each vessel has a round bottom, vertical concave sides, outturned rim; 2 horizontal pierced lugs at rim, one at each end of twin vessel; joined at rim and base of sides. Dark brown paint: band around rims; each vessel has a band composed of double-axe panels enclosed by two vertical lines, with 3 stripes each at top and bottom of band; stripes on legs. |
