Description
Woman's belt, cotton, warp faced. Black and white with a red border stripe and dark green weft. Warp patterns with multicolor brocade of stylized animals, birds, dolls, floral and geometric motifs. Totonicapan type.
As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 120 epi, two ply, white, black and red cotton. Weft: 19 ppi, multistrand, green cotton. Supplementary weft is two faced. Woven on a backstrap loom."
