Description
Roughly shaped stone blade, tanged, with triangular cross-section. Attached to forked wooden haft by criss-crossed lashings of braided plant fiber. Fragments of blue-edged stickers from L'Exposition universelle de Paris, 1900, one of which could read "Hac[hette] "du Nu[ku Hiva] Marq[uesas].
