Description

Mat seat (Tabit Song). Small rectangular mat with pointed top, herringbone weave in natural and dark brown rattan peel. One half with design of dark diagonal zig-zag lines and decorative bands, the other plain natural color. Twisted ties running through and securing disc of conus shell at center top. Worn by men, suspended from the waist at back, ready to sit on in the forest.
