Description

Rim-sherd from a cup with convex profile. Fine, pink (7.5 YR 7/4) clay with a paler surface, with decoration in red paint. Wiped with water and burnished. Interior painted. Tortoise-shell ripple between bands. A common type. For Ripple Ware see. I, no. 24.
