Description

Double edged iron blade with bevelled edges; sides almost parallel for two-thirds their length, then convex to sharp point; slight medial ridge on each face with three annulets near base. Tang inserted in ivory grio which has a brass edge where it fits over the blade; the actual grip is a long cylindrical section with triple horn band at its base; the far end is wide and lentoid in section, and is surmounted by a long, facted, silver knob bound at its base with silver wire.
