| Description | Water carrier. Coconut shell with one largish hole in top and a small hole (for cord hanger). Sticker: Tahiti 13295 (?) Similar to 1994.X.11540, which has a stopper, a coconut fiber hanging strap and a French label identifying it as a water jug ("gargouillette"). Exhibited at l'Exposition universelle de Paris 1900. |
