| Description | Heavy bark cloth with intricate, geometric patterns in black. Thick fringe. The reverse is dyed reddish brown. Made of Banyan bark (Ficus prolixa). According to French tag, from Funafuti, Ellice Islands. Exhibited at l'Exposition universerlle de Paris 1900. |
