Description | Round lid with a strap handle on the top of the lid. There is a white line painted around the edge. There appears to be a burnished finish on the exterior and a burnished finish on the interior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. Fireclouding is present on the lid The catalogue number is written on the bottom. Black ink on the bottom reads: "2216c." |
