Description | Sheath with ship shaped top (wrangka), with top only slightly curved and one lower corner squared off. Wood of one side golden brown, the other brown with dark splotches (kaju pelet). Body of sheath (gandar) of unremarkable wood, with windings of pinkish (faded?) woven tape and fat cord covered with red thread. Cord loop coverd with woven yellowish elements (vine or peel?) and narrow blue-green tape. Wood tip (chape) with flat round base (chape). |
