Description
Pipikoro dialect, Uma language. Barkcloth blanket (kumu kumpe). (kume = blanket; kumpe = barkcloth) Sarong style. Used for warmth in sleeping or as door or space divider in hut. Reddish-brown barkcloth, beaten into a large tube. From nunu lero (Ficus sp.: probably Ficus infectoria). Made by Tina Moso (family name Momu)
