Description | Large. Wooden. "Totem." Standing human figure with arms bent across chest, fingers almost touching. Knees slightly flexed. One foot broken off. Ears are separate pieces of wood set in and nailed on head. Round hole bored through open mouth to back where some of wood cut away around it. Nail in top of nose. Adze marks visible all over figure. Coloring: black marking on each knee, male genitals indicated with white paint plus some black, on chest: Features of a face (with no face outline) in black, while face of figure has markings and features painted with red and black primarily with some white and a green band across face and eye level. |
