Description | White faience shabti belonging to the Mayor, Pennut. The shabti has a tripartite wig, ears are visible, and five lines indicate a wesekh collar. Hands are modeled, and hold adzes. A somewhat faded text column runs down the front of the shabti's legs, and reads "The illuminated one, the Osiris, Mayor, Pennut." There is a triangular basket on the shabti's back, decorated with horizontal lines. |
