Description | Fragment of a limestone stela with incised hieroglyphs and decoration. At the top is the lower portion of a register of figures, below which is a band of hieroglyphic captions which coincide with the figures on the lower portion of the fragment. The central caption is destroyed, but that on the right begins "his wife, Sa..." At the left is a kneeling woman, facing right, with her left arm crossed over her chest, and her right arm held out above her lap. To her right is a kneeling man, bald, also facing to the right. His arms are in a similar position to the woman. Between the woman and the man is a column of hieroglyphs. |
