Description

Cotton, white ground, red border stripes, brocaded with birds, brocaded borders with trees.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 32 epi, 2 ply, white cotton. 72 epi, 3 ply, red and purple cotton. Weft: 16 ppi, 2 strands, 2 ply, white cotton with red and purple cross stripes (cotton). Balanced and warp faced plain weave. Supplemental weft - two faced. 1 panel - 2 selvedges. Made on a backstrap loom."
