Description

Cofradia, white cotton, three pieces with randa, upper part of central section front and back heavily embroidered in dark blue diamonds each with central block of rose or lavender silk, remainder embroidered with birds in rose green and yellow cotton, silk ribbons at neck.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 40 epi, 3 singles, Z twist, white cotton. Weft: 26 ppi, 3 singles, Z twist, white cotton. Warp plain weave. Supplemental weft - two faced. 3 panels - 4 selvedges each. Made on a backstrap loom."
