Description

Large roll of canvas hung on a thin black rod. Character, hu 虎, meaning "tiger" executed in one stroke. This is from a stela in the Beilin Museum which depicts the brushwork of Ma Dezhao (马德昭) active during the Qing Dynasty. The stela was erected in 1866 CE. Inscription on the right and left with two seals at the bottom left. Orange and tan paint used.
