Sommerville: Antique paste intaglio. Homer. Antique Pastes, Case WWW.

Vermeule: Glass paste, imitating Sardonyx. Intaglio. (Unmounted) Draped bust of a Hellenistic or earlier philosopher facing to left. Sommerville identifies him as Homer but his features are more those of the so-called Chrysippos. Graeco-Roman.
