Description

Wooden pigment box with lid; square shape; lid is ornmented with geometric carvings; rim on all four sides are slanted; knob protrudes from center of lid; directly above know on rim is a hole, a second hole is found below this one on the side of the box; body of box is also decoratively carved; rim is slanted on bottom of box as well; exterior base of box is plain; exterior of box is dark brown in color; interior of box has a red hue from the pigment it once contained.
