Description | Ivory fragment of a lion's body with mane. Muscarella Publication: " Fragment of the body of a lion, lacking the legs, head and rear section. The mane and stomach hair are extant and consist of neatly craved triangular locks. On each side of the body is an incised rectangular area with interior vertical incisions, and the back is decorated with two incised lines with a "stitching" pattern." |
