Description | House model. In a tan box with black framing on the front, around outside and windows. Glass panes in front of 3 scenes. Right: Inside a long hut, two people sitting on the sides of a carved pole, fire on one side, a woven mat, a pot, a bag handing from a structural pole, and other objects on the floor. Middle: three people building a hut, can see basic structure, one person by a canoe, Tree to the right, can also see a mortar and pestle and a hide stretching. Left: A woman and a wrapped up baby inside a hut. The woman is leaning over a basket, there is a purple vegetable/corn(?) on the ground, as well as hung on a string behind her (also hanging in the far right scene). Made by Thomas MacDowell. |
