Description | Fine-grained, dark gray, volcanic stone. Front left-hand quarter. Lamp was originally 36 x 30.5 cm. and it stood 11.5 cm. high. Decorations consist of a groove around the outside 1 cm. below the rim, 3 raised vertical bars about 1 cm. wide on the outside at the front (there were probably similar decorations at the side), 8 v-shaped lines extend-ing for a distance of 8 cm. back from the front of the lamp. |
