Description | A) Naked youth at left, leaning on post, bird on left hand, wreath in right hand. At right, a fully clothed woman seated on rocks, facing left, holding out in front of her a large cista in right hand, left hand on rocks. B) Fully clothed woman running toward right but facing back to left, holding out toward left in right hand a cista. In left hand she holds a string of beads. Large palmette under each handle with tendrils on either side of each. Encircling the vessel below is a continuous wave pattern. A&B above, egg pattern. One handle broken off and glued back on. Otherwise intact. |
