Moccasin

A matching pair of beaded leather moccasins. The opening, tongue, and laces are unadorned but the tops and sides of the moccasins are covered with glass seed beads. Each moccasin has a pattern of three squares on the top, made from indigo, green, and yellow beads and surrounded by orange. A band of light blue beads with green and indigo accents runs around the ircumference of each shoe. There are small gaps in the beadwork on the back of each moccassin where the buckskin is sewn together.

Dirt is ground into the soles of each moccasin in the shape of footprints, indicating that they were worn.
