One of a pair of moccasins made from one piece of soft moose hide with a center seam along the toe and heel. The upper is ornamented around the tongue with a semicircular design of nine bands of differently patterned materials over a black, wool tongue. Pairs of metal beads are attached along the edge of the outermost band. Some of the embroidered decoration continues along the side of the moccasin. An oversized cuff is sewn on to the moccasin and folded over. Hide laces are inserted through holes above the tongue.
