Description | The object is identified as a Hopi Three Horn. The Kachina is carved painted wood with a brown fur wrap around the upper body and down one side of the lower body. The figure wears a painted white embdoidered kilt, woven sash belt, has three conical horns on the top of the head, and holds no objects in its hands. On the back of the head are feathers there is also a folded piece of leather attached with five nails and glue. Paint colors: white, black, red, yellow, green, blue, pink, green. |
