Description
Cofradia. Blue cotton ground. Two panels sewn together. Armhole and neck opening faced with black velvet. Geometric brocading in red, blue and green cotton and several shades of pink and lavender silk.
As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 27 epi, four singles, Z twist, blue cotton. Weft: 20 ppi, three singles, Z twist, blue cotton. Warp is predominantly plain weave. Supplementary weft is two faced. Two panels, four selvedges each. Woven on a backstrap loom."
