Description

White painted kylix; Incomplete; fragmentary small piece of upper body and rim missing; slip badly worn; exposed fabric soft and powdery; painted decoration still clearly visible. Short, hollow-stemmed, splayed foot; upper body straight; thin inward bevelled rim; 2 horizontal loop handles on upper body. Interior:wide encircling bands at bottom; double band encircling rim. Exterior: foot and lower part of stem painted solid; band encircling juncture of lower and upper body; handles painted solid.
