Description

Decorated. Broad stripes of single faced bobbin weave. Bird pattern in brown, black and yellow.

Fragment of cloth. Fragment is divided into nine stripes (five with a decorative diamond design and four undecorated plain weave). The five highly decorative bands have large floats on verso (definite front and back). Both weft selvage edges have a decorative knitted bound finish (needle knitting?). Across one edge is attached a band. Color(s): Brown, black, yellow and off-white.
