Description | Man's cloth made of red cotton with brocaded with figures of birds. White cotton, pale blue, green, purple, lavender, blue and yellow silk. Faded. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 28 epi, two singles, Z twist, red cotton. Weft: 16 ppi, two singles, Z twist, red cotton. Warp predominantly plain weave. Supplementary weft is two faced. One panel, four selvedges. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
