Description | Oval, open-mouthed, low-sided birch bark basket. Foundation of single birch bark piece, folded at four corners. Single rod added to outside of rim, lashed with .3 cm wide willow(?) strips with open stitching, each approximately .5 cm apart. Four small birch bark pieces added to each side at outside rim. White outer surface of bark faces out, interior is inner red surface. |
