Description | CBS Register: Seal cyl. Hematite. PBS XIV: The worshiping of a bearded god standing up with hand extended below the crescent. He has a horned mitre, his hair tied in a loop and a flounced robe. There is a squat monkey in the field. In front of him there is a figure in turban and short tunic stepping forth like Martu, but without any club in hand. A last figure in turban, flounced robe, hair tied behind, adores with one hand up. The emplems between them are a fish and a bird. Concave cyl. seal. Hematite, 22 ½ x 9 mm. Abu-Hatab. |
