Description | Woven in three pieces joined vertically. Sides white made of Indian yarn, middle yellow and black diamonds. Middle embroidery includes zigzags, checks and diamonds. All embroidery foreign yarn. Not worn, sides not sewn and neck not cut. As per Sigrid Meier, "Side panel: Warp - 32 epi, single, Z twist, white cotton. Weft - 26 ppi, single, Z twist, white cotton. Center Panel: Warp - 28 epi, 2 singles, Z twist, yellow cotton. Weft: 24 ppi, 2 singles, Z twist, yellow cotton. Balanced plain weave. Supplemental weft - two faced. 3 panels - 4 selvedges each. Made on a backstrap loom." |
