Description | Unmade skirt made of red cotton with broad compound stripes of blue and white ikat. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 36 epi, single, Z twist, red cotton. Two singles, indigo cotton in selvedge. Weft: 44 ppi, single, Z twist, red and yellow with indigo/white jaspe cotton. Balanced plain weave. Woven on a treadle loom." |
