Description

Woodblock print. Study of lotus seed pods. 3 color. Illustration from the "Ten Bamboo Studio Manual of Calligraphy and Painting (Shizhuzhai shuhua pu)" a manual for artists, first printed circa 1633 by Hu Zhengyan (1582 - 1672). Prints 35-5-1 to 35-5-95 are from an edition printed before 1870.
