Description

Lidded basket. Technical notes: twined, close twined, two-strand, in-between weave (with plain), wrapped weft ("false embroidery"). Basket: 8 warps, 13 wefts per square inch; Lid (knob): 13 warps, 17 wefts per square inch; Lid: 10 wefts per square inch. Rattle-top lid; lid does not match basket; fireweed pattern on lid and fern frond; body: raven's tail and halibut tail?
