Description | Woven in three pieces joined vertically. Sise pieces Indian yarn, middle foreign yarn. Side embroidery blue and yellow leaves and dots, middle rosettes and zigzags in white and two shades of yellow. All embroidery foreign yarn. As per Sigrid Meier, "Side Panels: Warp - 34 epi, single, Z twist, white cotton. Weft - 36 ppi, single, Z twist, white cotton. Center Panel: Warp - 36 epi, single, Z twist, indigo cotton. Weft: 36 ppi, single Z twist, indigo cotton. Balanced plain weave. Supplement weft - two faced. 3 panels - 4 selvedge each. Made on a backstrap loom." |
