Description | White cotton with weft fringes. White ground with two horizontal bands, one band alternates between red and green. The other band made up with stripes of red, green, yellow and blue. Red selvedges on two sides. Visible floats on one side. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 28 epi, 3 singles, white (red singles in border). Weft: 18 ppi, 3 singles, white plain weave. Plain weave with weft pulled up into fringe. Fringe, red, green and white." |
