Description | Two pieces, very slight randa, white, upper two thirds with red wefts with widely spaced paired dark blue cross stripe, broad selvedge stripes of red with narrow green and white stripe. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 24 epi, 2 singles, Z twist, white cotton. Selvedge: 48 epi, 2 singles, Z twist, red, blue, white and yellow cotton. Weft: 24 ppi, 3 singles, Z twist, white, red and blue cotton. Balanced plain weave. Warp plain weave. 2 panels - 4 selvedges each. Made on a backstrap loom." |
