Description

Double-edged blade, wide shallow groove down each face. Second blade is shorter, double-edged, with U-shaped groove on each face forming the snout of an animal head, the eyes made of abalone discs. Grip joins the two blades, bound with thong terminating in carrying strap. Iron overlay, rivetted laterally, extends on each side of blade from grip. On long blade, overlay forms masks with abalone eyes; overlay on short blade has abalone eyes and teeth.
